Kate Eldridge Studio, New Branding and more Authentic Approach

After 4 years, I’ve recently had a really good think about my business, who I am and where I want it to go. Naturally a good place to start was my branding, really getting to the core of what I care about, who my customer is and the things I stand for.

I cannot tell you just how helpful it is to sometimes, take a pause and really do deep on your WHY. What I realized was, I was trying to be too many things, being somewhere in the middle of competing with the huge print studios (hello, I’m ONE person, that’s never going to work) and being a freelancer for literally anyone and everyone.

Going deep on my why, I uncovered that I REALLY care about quality, authentic art, created from a place of inspiration and joy, and THAT’S what I want to bring to my customers. I don’t want to create hundreds of prints just to see what sticks, I want to create with INTENTION and really work 1 on 1 to create that really special piece that sparks some joy.

If you’re a design director, artist or buyer working through building a new collection for anything, this approach of just taking a pause, and really tapping into what you feel excited by at moment will work wonders on your final result. Even if you don’t think it will, the fact that the designs came from a place of intention will resonate SO much more with your customers. . . more than you know!

It’s so easy to get swept away in a sea of frantic designing, aligning with your strategies and hitting too many different deadlines. With print design, I think it’s possible we get a little too caught up in logical thinking and strategy, at the end of the day, your customer will buy based on emotion.

So here it is, the re-brand and re-thought out way of working. I hope you love the branding as much as I do!

*A special thank you to Indiah at https://www.ifordesign.co/ for bringing my brand vision to life.
