These are my current go to books of choice when designing at the moment. I’ve always been drawn to Indian Florals, I just love details, boldness and color. . . and these books are all amazing if you like that kind of thing.

Patterns of India by Christine Chitnis- Focused on the northern state of Rajasthan this is an absolutely beautiful book with incredible photography. Its divided into color story with a beautiful color palette. Buy here

French Antique Textiles- One of my most used books, entirely in Japanese and French of which I understand neither! (This doesn’t matter too much as the pictures are the main feature). So many amazing references to classic 18th century prints- Toile de Jouy and Indian florals. Buy here

India Florals from the V&A museum- A recent addition to my collection, this has some great images of traditional Indian Florals as well as little history. Buy here
